  3. NOTE: This BBS does not do any connects automatically.  It will auto
  4. forward and auto reverse forward once connected to another BBS.
  5.  
  6.  So, how do you start a forward?   Well to send something out,
  7. connect to the station you want to forward to, type F7 function key.
  8. If B:DIR has it correct, it will go out, with header from first line in
  9. B:FWD file.  B:FWD also determines what gets forwarded to which BBS.
  10. BID bulletins are forwarded from info in B:BID and B:USR files.
  11.  
  12.  BBS sends message, then sends "F>" to try a reverse forward, and if
  13. other BBS knows what that means, it will send mail to your BBS.
  14.  
  15.  STREAM SWITCHES must be set to ^B ($02) for normal port (VHF)
  16. and ^C ($03) for other port if KAM or KPC-4.
  17.  
  18.  CMD must be changed to ^A ($01).
  19.  
  20.  STATSHRT must be ON.   This makes KPC send a short status in response
  21. to STATUS command.

  24. BID - Bulletin ID
  25. -----------------
  26.  For a $BID msg to go out, the DIR entry must be type B$ as in:

  30.  The USR file must have a ALPHA char assigned to the connected to BBS,
  31. in DIR entry 20 (the "D" manually assigned to N3DPU).

  46. FWD - Forward File
  47. ------------------
  48.  First line of FWD file becomes your header in messages.  Change this
  49. for your CALL, CITY, N:node, Z:ZIP.

  53.  When using forwarding titles, such as "ARL" in @BBS field, an entry must
  54. be made into your FWD file.  This consists of entries followed by *BBSCALL.
  55. Following says forward anything @ ARL or @ WB3HVJ or @ AMSAT to N3DPU BBS.
  56. WB3HVJ in this case is a BBS that N3DPU forwards to.
